Following from the Wrist Check 2016 thread, Corum have re-launched their legendary Bubble watch. It's one of those watches I have loved for ages and ages, but never quite got round to buying!

Going to change that very very soon smile Just awaiting confirmation of availability/ delivery. I think both of these are available, just can't make my mind up on which one

The black one is the obvious choice, but the brown one is just so different... I am thinking brown!

The bronze is prettier. Silly big (47mm) though.

I remember when Quinny first posted a picture of his Bat Bubble, I thought it to be fantastic then and still do.

Having said that I wouldn't wear a Bubble though it's great that such a watch exists yes

Edit to add: if you're going to do it you might as well go the whole nine yards - brown!

My original one is 45mm was worried about the size but wears nowhere near as big as you would think, discounting the glass of course!

I would go for the bronze one, have uk prices been released yet? I heard about $5800 which is what made me go for the original one as the ts a great watch but not one I'd wear often so couldn't justify that amount on it. But if less i may end up with both.

Yeah they are £2600, so considering what some used ltd editions are fetching, it's not so bad. Man maths I know smile

On the size, yeah I know 47mm is huge, but it's not exactly a shrinking violet watch is it smile

Do you have details of a uk source? At under £3 i might be tempted with the bronze one myself.

Out of those 2 I think I'd go for the brown......but looking at the website there's a coin (silver Dollar) I think, with the centre cut out, and a pirate scene on the dial...hehe now that's the sort of thing that appeals to mesmile. Gonna buy a crazy watch, the may as well make it proper bonkers...

I sold my bubble bats when I had the chance to double my money on it......my wife and sister still haven't forgiven mefrown.. Out of all the watches I've owned, it was their absolute favourite.....
