Anyone have any experience or suggestions? My 2 yr old Le Mans could do with a service and some TLC as the rubber strap has a small tear in it and the case has a scuff on it.

Why would it need a service after 2 years, presumably you bought it new?
If it’s showing signs of something not being right, and as Steinharts have a 2 year warranty, then they may offer to sort it as a matter of goodwill, depending on how old it exactly is at this point.
Their straps are cheap, so a replacement will not break the bank.

When it does eventually need servicing, i.e. every 5 or so years, the servicing should be straightforward. Steinhart tends to use common watch movements, such as ETA and Sellita. Any decent watchmaker should be able to service them. I'd find a good independent watchmaker for this. Although I've not used him, a member on here called Variomatic is a watchmaker who gets a lot of positive feedback.
