Just a continuation thread. With a fleet of expensive small children, sadly I have nothing horologically suitable to kick off with.

I have my PO due back to me in about a month, as it developed the nasty 2500 habit of working fine one minute, then losing loads of time and grinding to a halt! Luckily it's in warranty until April!

BTW Stuart, if the last Incoming thread was way past the comfy limit... is it now time for G-Shock Prawn vol 2 (nearly vol 3!) as it's ticked past the 160 page mark!

Yes, it probably is. It's a job I always forget to do and I don't follow that thread myself, which doesn't help.

Oh I'm not a g-shock type myself either, I just noticed it in the main watches forum (backpedal, backpedal, I own a Suunto Core!!!)

This, I think. Did you mention something about a "Rolex" bezel at some point, Andy? Could be way, way off the mark though hehe

ETA by Rolex bezel, I am of course referring to the insert!

Is an interchangeable bezel for your 1665 and the significance is the interesting coloured market 'dot' at the 'top'?

(I dunno really).

To easy obviously.

Yes, it's an incredibly rare NOS "Rolex" bezel as originally fitted to the Autavia Diver 100 like this

(Borrowed pic)

So I'll have the option of either look now

Andy, your Heuers look remarkable. What price do they typically go for, in good condition?
I know it's a difficult question, given the rarity of them, but still...

^^^ Thanks

Autavia's are somewhat flavour of the month right now as it's the 50 year anniversary.

The Diver 100 as above & my very recently (like today) acquired 111.603 PVD

are so rare it's difficult to give guidance.

The 11630MH would be worth circa £1,500

and my 11630 GMT circa £3k

The Viceroy I sold in June 2011 for £1,400 would probably be £1,500 now

The Siffert I sold in July 2011 for £3,600 could be as much as £4,500 now

Not sure what they go for now but I also sold this 2446C in February 2012 for £1,500

Hope that helps. I think in terms of bang for your buck the Autavia and other Heuers are remarkably reasonable & very wearable as daily watches given their age.

Thanks to a certain well known PHer, I will be shortly receiving a new 45.5mm Planet Ocean - but with no added tango!

Took some pics of the 111.603 today.

I am absolutely loving this watch, especially on the Stach strap in the pics. I just keep looking at it - the dial, applied baton markers and hands just work so well to my eye & the bezel insert is a fantastic bronze colour that changes appearance depending how it pics up the light.

The condition of the PVD is not perfect, and there is a small ding in the bezel insert by the 5. I was aware of these points before buying the watch but the seller Roberto Rifario of il Segnatempo's pictures actually made the condition look much worse than it is. I'd recommend Roberto based on this experience for certain.

The current Autavia collection

That is quite a quad that you have there yes Are there any others that you're going to add? Or has the wallet cried enough? laugh

Probably a bit too early to ask but is there a favourite amongst them? I personally prefer the Diver and I'd stick with the decompression bezel, though I can understand why you'd have the alternative bezel as well.

I'd love a 11063 GMT and would trade / sell my 11630 version to get one. As for a favourite - That would be hard to call. Even though the 11630 is the most common, I really like it & probably wear it the most.

First incoming for me since the beginning of December. smile
I had plans to buy something else that I've been on the look out for a few years now, but ended up with these-

I've been on the look out for an Okeah for a while now, it'll go well with my Army issue Komandirskie and Air Force issue Sturmanskie.

This was from the same seller and too much of a bargain to miss out on. I'll compare it to the other I already have and then probably get rid of one. smile

Have some wheels inbound for my car (OZ Ultraleggeras cloud9) as well as a sports exhaust, so maybe I'll be able to stretch to what I planned to buy.... We'll see!

I've just bought back my previously owned TAG Microtimer, now sporting a nice leather strap. The reason I sold it last time was it's too shiny and picks up marks far too easily. When it arrives, I'm going to do what I didn't have the bottle to do last time I owned it - Have the finish brushed. Could be a disaster or could be great smile

Interested to see how it comes out. I have phases where I love these, then others when they hold no interest.
