Bought from fleabay in America. I hope I've done the right thing.

I've wanted one for years, but this one came up and bonus time as well.

Please post up some pics when it arrives. I've often thought that I would like one for the lounge.

Quality pieces - want one myself! I repaired one for a customer a few years ago, and it was a lot less hassle than I anticipated.

Bought one new a few years ago, you'll watch it waiting for it to stop, it never does, it just "beats" slowly. Great piece of kit.

Mine has its 40th birthday next year, in the ten years I've owned, it has never stopped and only needed correcting a couple of times

Thats a much nicer dial version - I think they age better with Roman Numerals. Mine is the numbered version which is very 60's (even though they were like that much earlier).

Nice pair of JLC's

I hope it works out well, I have one and I can tell you from various house moves that they do not travel well.

hmm. thats interesting cos the reading I did around them said the opposite, otherwise I would have bought a UK one and 'picked up'.

"Contrary to common belief, Atmos clocks are quite safe to post by using a good courier, as long as the pendulum is locked and they are well packed. It is economical, convenient and I have never had any trouble. The "economy service" is good enough. Click the link how to pack a clock for some examples".

From a clock repairer

well its up and running. It took a while to level it, but started straight away. Just need to let it settle down for a few days and then monitor its accuracy.

In the flesh the dial doesn't seem as dated as they do in photos.
