I think it's nice that everyone is wishing Doofus lots of Love.

My Mil once sent my wife a text saying "your aunt died LOL".

Don't worry about Doofus, he's having one of his GOM days, lol.

My mother uses "LOL" to mean "lots of love". But then she never really got to grips with messaging etiquette, such as it is.

Dress watch, with lumed, painted markings, and as such clearly unacceptable as a product. Shall dispose of it, forthwith.

Joking aside, the tack marks on that IWC have made me twitch. I'd accept better on a watch at that price - microbrands manage to avoid that.

It's like the dimple in the middle of the face of some Rolexes, where the hands are (my Air King being an example). Not really good enough for what they charge.

The finishing is better on my Grand Seiko (No lume/date) than my Datejust.

A birthday gift to myself, which I gave the wife to wrap up for me, absolutely stunning. The new CW C60 Pro 300 Bronze Chronometer.

Not quite up there with some of the lovely watches on show although I do find myself wearing this one a fair bit albeit with regular strap changes!

What's that, a Certina? Looks decent.

My GS is better finished than almost any watch I own. That's a high bar to set!!

Yes - Certina DS Action automatic. Paid about £600 for it 3 years ago. Couldn’t get approval from the FD for a Tudor or Seamaster so this was the next best one imo!
