Absolutely - once the problem is found and it's passed a dry and wet water test. Why not? If your brakes failed then got them fixed would you not take your car on the road

If my brakes cost the same as a Rolex I'd give any puddles of water as wide a berth as possible. Very few behave like idiots and deliberately drive through puddles of water. You know water can get into break fluid, right? I mean if you don't have any option that's one thing...

once it returns form the shop, it should perform as it is designed for - to be water resistant.....

From the horses mouth - soapy water and soft brush is absolutely fine. And so is wearing it in the gym ....................

It also says wearing it in the shower is a good way to clean it after wearing it in the sea/at the beach.

Me neither - it came from a conversation with the Omega factory as it happens. Something about water molecules/detergent molecules and silicon grease on the seals. The long and short of it was to avoid detergents. But who knows? The interwebs say there's zero risk.

It's the word 'detergent' and it's definition that has a bearing here. We're talking about shampoo, shower gel and Imperial Leather soap (if you're posh and flying to Bermuda ) you wouldn't take a box of Daz or a bottle of Surf into the shower with you

I doubt very much if Jacques Cousteau took his Sub off to take a shower after a dive
