I have a small number of mainly dive watch’s, Seiko and Citizen, pretty much each would come in under the £200 mark, although some of the Seiko would creep over that now.

Browsing as you do I came across something a little different from a Chinese manufacturer I wasn’t familiar with - BERNY. The automatic mechanism is a Miyota 8215 so given it is another dive watch and at £137 from Amazon I thought I would try one out.

The crown is internal and rotated through the first knob, it’s actually nice and smooth, bidirectional, but not as quick as manually rotating, still quite cool.

It’s a hefty thing with quite a comfortable and soft silicone strap and waterproof to 200m. So far seems nice and accurate and all the hands line up nicely, find myself wearing it quite a bit!

Not a great photo and makes it look large on my wrist which it isn’t particularly…

D1 Milano Sketch available in both colours.

Use WELCOMED1 for 10% off.

Works out at £277 for both, ask me how I know!
Nice smile

Albeit too late for some of us... whistle
Do you have one? If so are they as cool as in photos?

I have the blue g shock rip off version and even better in real life than the stock photos. This is the best i can do but still the watch is waaay cooler!

I did not need to know that watch existed...

More info needed!! wobble

I've still not actually worn the Sketch tbh - haven't been out and about much and seems a bit pointless wearing watches at home. lol

It is well packed, feels nice in the hand, and is 'soft touch' finish, so it's pretty nice smile

The g shock is reference GA-2100MNG
It is done in the Manga style.

There is my blue version and also a white version but only 349 in UK of either so very limited and starting to go for £250-300 now.

I was after a white one but looking at the prices when the sketch came back in stock I quickly realised I could get both colours for pretty much the price of the G from a reseller.

Does the Sketch feel as though the colour would rub through or does it feel durable? I have around 100 watches and they all get worn, but I do wear a watch from waking to sleeping everyday!

I - BENRY.
I'd noticed a few of their homage models were starting to look nicer and closer to what Pagani Design were doing. Your one looks cool, the compressor inner bezel style is popular at the moment, and this one has a flair of originality about it.

Great buy for £137.

Oi, that's not my typo! hehe

But yes 'Berny' is correct. Definitely good value for something with interesting styling, though I'd likely cough up an extra few tenners for something from the likes of Spinnaker when a sale is on.

Well i got them as well as a £66 customs charge!

Initial thoughts are they are not a patch on the blue g shock i posted. And they don’t stop me wanting the white version of that. But. They are fun, they are light. They are cheap but then they also feel it.

If i’d of pick one up in a shop and tried on I may not of bought one, definitely wouldn’t of got both, although no idea on my favourite.

Ace biggrin

Agreed on them not feeling as well built as other stuff, but they are fun smile

I did look at that G-Shock, thank you for the info smile I sort of resent them all being 2x the original price, but then I guess that once they all find long term homes, they won't be on the market at all, soooo...

Yeah i got mine off ebay for £220. I hate resellers but i have over 40 G-Shocks and needed this one for the collection!

My opinion is that orice is only going one way as only 349 released in the uk of each colour so crazy rare!

It’s a great watch!

It’s amazing how many of anything that is ‘limited edition’ (watches or otherwise) end up on eBay. Of this watch there are 172 sold listings (in the last 90 days) and 41 currently for sale.

I’m annoyed as had to pay a reseller and never done that before for anything. I also collect trainers.

Signed up for notification for when it went in sale but Casio never emailed me.

Would be interested to find if actually limited to 349. The website said it was but also that you could buy from the Covent Garden one so were those included in the numbers or are there 370 of each.
