Just ordered this:

A takeaway over budget, but a bargin. Spotted a nice IP coated bracelet which will go with it but its nearly half the price of the watch...

I find the case shape of the Samurai appealing. Would quite like one at some point. That seems good value.

Huge amount of watch for the money! I had a grey dawn and loved it. Tempted myself, but it was just too big for my wrists.

Although I do have man wrists, the black colour will help with the perceived size. I don't have any black watches which aren't plastic, so I'm looking forward to something a bit different, having looked again at the aftermaket bracelet it does look quite smart..

Boom. A Samurai for £230 new is an excellent deal. Congratulations.
I’d be tempted to just put it on a generic black PVD bracelet, they’re only a few quid from AliExpress. Keep the budget thing going.

I know I should really, but its very nice, screw links, solid end links, milled clasp, extendy thingy...

But I do fancy a black mesh or milanse, and they are in keeping.

A quality bracelet is worth it I reckon.

Tempted by a Steeldive 1970 on the Alie-express sale for £70 delivered VAT paid. But sticking with my April no watches no whisky resolution.

That’d be me.

It’s absolutely lovely. Well worth trying it on. The case and bracelet are superb.

I got mine very lightly used for a hair over thread budget.

I think the Powermatic 80 for under £400 should definitely get a thread pass as it’s punching so far above its weight!

In other news my Smiths PRS-40 has arrived, full review to follow if anyone is interested.
Very interested…
Extremely interested

Ok, once I have worn it for a few days I will report back! It’s certainly striking!

Apologies for the crap photo. An old iPhone and neon lights in this dressing room make for useless images.

Depends on whether it's pretending to be made by Omega or has a different makers name on, if it's sporting a different makers name it's perfectly acceptable to be an homage.
I get that, his are all counterfeits.
I don't remember posting a photo of my watch box...

Right, can we stop this please? I really couldn't give a rats arse what people choose to buy, whether it be a Mickey Mouse watch, a plastic Swatch, an overpriced Seiko, a fake, an homage or anything else, this thread was started as an antidote to all the posturing, stupid terms and general poncyness of most of the other watch threads, please don't bring it down to their level by sniping about whether a watch is fake or not, it really doesn't matter, we're all here just to enjoy cheap(ish) watches!!

We ought to be doing the steering wheel/dashboard shots really. With Ford, Vauxhall or the works van in the background.

Is it wrong for me to want a Swatch/Omega Moon watch?
