Morning all, that is a nice Hanowa, and thanks for asking.
Better than it had any right to go, I think is the honest answer!
On a personal note I remembered both the role and the production, having flown in on the day of the show (something I NEVER do), and mind body and voice all held up ok.
The duck-faced Romanian soprano messed up a few bits but she was knackered having sung the lead role in Don Carlo the night before.
The Russian lad playing the baritone lead somehow managed to learn it in time and he sang well.
The only downer was that it was appallingly badly sold. People aren’t coming to the opera at the moment. Let’s hope we have a decent crowd in this afternoon for the Ukraine charity concert in Frankfurt.
Cheers all!
Really hope you get a good sized audience for this afternoon and glad it went well the other day Better than it had any right to go, I think is the honest answer!

It was excellent, over €7k taken on the door and hopefully a few thousand more with the collection afterwards.
A very moving evening.
That’s fantastic. A great effort from all concerned and a very worthy cause. A very moving evening.
My hat of to you and the cast, production team and all others involved
If I can get one I probably will, I have entered the JOMW competition too. On the other hand I still like the Night Flight, which looks a bit Speedmastery.
Still love the original design and is the only thing I would spend the cash on (if I had it) at that price bracket, I cannot get my head around the people out there who say that it has changed their view on the brand/watch.

I entered that as well but I doubt I'll ever win off him again. Still love the original design and is the only thing I would spend the cash on (if I had it) at that price bracket, I cannot get my head around the people out there who say that it has changed their view on the brand/watch.

Just brilliant. Thanks for posting. It always reminds me how much influence Wagner had on the composers of cartoon music from that era.

Tried an orange devil diver on a few weeks a go. Very cool watch but a lot of crystal reflection. I particularly like the markers which are like lume wells.
Thanks for the comment!Well, my bank account might not thank you... lol
Looks like they do a 41mm version and not just that 44mm version:

Seems Amazon has matched the Sale price but they've sold out:

It's a shame H Samuel don't do the blue/orange version as well:

But I really like this other model as well, proper vintage look:

I tried on the 41mm. It had an awesome retro summer watch feel to it.
The mil ships is cool but I think the 16mm lug width, while true to the original, looks a little out of place. A Tornek Rayville TR660 is the same style but modernised and I think looks better for it.

I spotted that - 16mm is very narrow on a 41mm case, I definitely agree that some modernising tweaks that are still in the same 'flavour' as the original are a good thing. The mil ships is cool but I think the 16mm lug width, while true to the original, looks a little out of place.
