Where would you buy a homage Breitling Navitimer from?
Rotary do a pretty decent 'homage'.

Bobbers has one, he doesn’t wear it nearly enough, it’s a lovely thing.

yes

It is indeed a good watch, keeps excellent time, looks great, not too bulky but has presence, had to replace my strap after around 16-17 years.

Ah, the Chavitimer!

I'm having a phase of fancying something from the more economical end of the watch market, currently wearing a Mk1 Seiko Monster on a Phoenix Admiralty Grey Nato, alternating with a Newmark 6BB, which is on a Crown and Buckle single-pass Chevron Nato - no pics of either at the moment, I'll try to rectify that later.

And, just to upset Bobbers, I have a £2,000 quartz Grand Seiko as well! And a thing of rare craftsmanship and beauty it is, too.

Is there much love for the Rotary Super 7 on here? Also their new Henley Seamatic. "British design" (ok, so they are a bit cloney), sapphire glass, 300M WR!
I was looking at various Orient divers and Seiko '5KX' (5 Sports SRPD) and the spec and build on the Super 7 does seem good value, although limited options for big discounts as there is only one main supplier (for the Super 7 at least, Watchnation).

i got the pepsi version last year as on paper it looked a great spec but it felt very underwhelming when i had it in hand, not helped by the rough and noisy miyota movement.

It got sold on very quickly.

A humble Seiko 5 gets the full Watchfinder video treatment. Just astoundingly well finished (although I haven’t seen them anywhere for $100!)

Thought it might be of interest.

I cannot stand their videos. The voice over, the writing, the production - just everything about them makes me cringe... is it just me?

Definitely not just you, I can’t stand the tone of his voice and the way he speaks. The rest of the videos aren’t so bad, just a shame that the voice over ruins it.

Glad it's not just me.

Jack Forster did an article on the Seiko 5 a few years a go - https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/a-seventy-five-d...

Sorry about that….it is more than a bit cringe, but they do do excellent macro shots and it really shows the quality of the 5.

Oh the picture quality is excellent, but why would a video obviously aimed at the American Market use such a boring English accent?

Finally got a decent one of my latest purchase, despite the leather strap being fantastic quality I just don't do leather so swapped it onto my favourite faded denim strap which I think really suits it.

Luke is pretty good but it fades quite quickly.

Momentum do a neat analogue/digi in titanium I quite fancy. Don’t think it’s a current model though.

This wasn't new but is in decent condition.

I'm actually really impressed with it and think it will suffice to satisfy my itch for a titanium watch.

Had the DC-3 Mk III for a couple of weeks now. So far, very impressed.

Both of the supplied straps look good, but I prefer the black leather to the green canvas - easy to swap as both come with quick release spring bars.

I see the official price has increased a fair bit above the budget set by this thread, although I suspect there is still a bargain to be had with a bit of searching.

I have one of these and don't wear it that often, the winding mechanism really makes the watch move when your wrist moves and it has an almost plastic like face which I'm terrified of scratching.
