You may remember I posted a short while ago about the digital Tissot prx, well the other day one appeared on eBay and I may have made a bid!

No pics yet as I'm currently on holiday in France but it's sat at home waiting for me!
Nice smile

I saw the ice blue version on some young chap this weekend - it looked very striking, it shall remain on my 'sorely tempting my budget if on a 50% off RRP offer' list biggrin
I believe Haddock is talking about the LCD version...?

With the 15% extra discount available from CW Sellors, this would be £196. I'm almost tempted myself... but still think £150 should be the RRP, so £125 with a discount biggrin

I just can't see the value in these? Generic LCD watches are cheap, so why isn't this one? Retro cool possibly, but I just don't get them.

The build quality is decent I'd imagine, and the name of course.

It's probably not much cheaper for an LCD than a quartz analogue, and they retail for around the same price so they each justify the price of the other.

I wouldn't own one though, digital isn't to my taste. I don't mind the Casio AE1200 I have which only gets a pass because it was £25.

I love digitals, and this one is pretty cool, but the value is in the case and bracelet. To me that would be 100 quid max, since the Pagani homage is just as good for a full auto at that price - I've had them side by side, and that's my honest view. So since the module will be pennies, maybe there's a brand mark up of 25-50%, which is where I think the RRP should be.

Everyone of course pays what they want to pay and many brands have shown that a 2x markup just for the brand isn't out of the ordinary.
But I agree, I think they'd make a killing at 250. It's different enough from the quartz analog to not cannibalize on sales there I'd say as well.

I've seen a lot 18-25 yo girls sporting a retro casio, often gold coloured. I can easily see this being the next step up, at 250 it's already at 5x that.

Usually fast delivery from AliExpress. 8 days from order to Scotland. Good packaging. Nice watch. No love of the mesh strap may change to black leather.
£64

Mesh strap so so. Clasp didn't feel secure. Into a spare strap from my watch toolbox meantime.

After a day running 7 seconds slow. Acceptable as I rarely wear a watch more than a few days in a row.

Totally ignoring thread budget biggrin I see that Tissot have now added a mint green dial option to their PRX Auto range smile

And I also stumbled on a full-gold (effect wink ) limited edition 'Damian Lillard' version with a different black dial, which I thought looked quite cool:

Although I'm not sure about the IFL Watches 'Interstellar' handpainted limited edition...

It does make me think that an aventurine dial would look awesome though...

I paid £136 for a used digital prx but I also fancy a quartz analogue model too.

This is currently favourite.

My £6.32 hot tuna watch of eBay.
Never had a NATO strap so wanted to see what it's like and I find it so comfy.
Colour looks good for for summer.

I paid £256 for my Mint PRX. It's worth shopping around and trying some discount codes.

With a slightly toned down strap, that would score highly for me.
Less than £7 delivered? Bargain !

Second day wearing the NATO and I have to say I think I prefer it to all my other straps.
Will definitely be looking for more different colours to enjoy

This one should be looking clean! Got back from camping a few days ago and couldn’t find my G Shock… searched the car, house and even unpacked the tent to look for it. I’d given up on it and resigned myself to having to buy the Citizen Eco-drive that’s been nagging at me.

This morning, Mrs Drooles shouts, “I’ve found your watch. It was in the washing machine.”

I’d slipped it into my pocket while loading the roof box and obviously forgotten about it. I think it’s survived at least two washes!

Only thing that broke was the aftermarket strap that I should be able to fix with a new spring bar

My Citizen is still doing alright. About a second and a half slow since... I think October. Seeing many others on here has given me the itch again, I do wish I'd gone EcoDrive rather than Quartz, but I just loved the look, and still do now.

I've been tempted by the deals on Aliexpress again.

Pagani Rollie GMT Pepsi homage for sub £50. I've been after one of these for a while.

Wore my Sugess today which is pretty rare since it's a manual wind and doesn't fit into my main collection.

It's a nice watch, not quite as nice as the Breitling Premier it seems to be based on perhaps, but the glass back and the view within is certainly interesting. A great buy for under £100.

That will have the Pearl movement in it, which is a bit hit and miss. Mine was a miss - maybe worth the extra 40 quid for a Seiko movement?
