That’s nice and has got me googling vintage Omegas.
Thank you. Careful it's a slippery slope and there are so many variations. A good Tintin would be high up my list

Also works well on a strap smile

Lovely. I’m a GS fan, although I only have the one (Snowflake).

Looks like you've been diving out of a few aeroplanes and chasing White coated megalomaniacs in that one!

That GS isn't helping my budgeting. Fortunately I've decided if/when I get one it has to be Spring Drive and titanium. If they do that combo with dial I'll be in trouble.

Haha. smile

Spring Drive is amazing - I know it's a bit of a cliche but the smooth sweep and the freakishly good accuracy are great. I have a spring drive diver in steel and it's a lovely thing.

I've been thinking about a hi-beat movement for a while and I really like the new evolution 9 case shape, dial markers and hand set etc, so this night birch ticked a lot of boxes for me.

Good luck with your budgeting!

The night birch does look good in photos, and my limited experience suggests it'll therefore be stunning in person.

Sadly I've just spotted the SGBA281. That might prove tricky to get past!

Cheers! My pictures can't really do it justice, it's one of my favourite watches.

Nick Harris originally did 50 of these a few years back and has now re-issued them with a different case and Miyota movement rather than the original Seiko one:

Think he's making 75 of these:

I did see that and if I hadn’t of just bought another at home would have been tempted! And if I were to buy another one so soon, then Mrs BVD May issue divorce papers!

Just have to stick to a few straps for the new one instead.
