Don't apply man maths if you're not sure about it - it will always favour buying whatever you're contemplating

I've had one before and thought it was a little small, but the Speedbird (PRS-22) is great value (especially pre-owned) so I'm going to give it another go.

Quite true - I slept on it (and bloody uncomfortable it was too... *baddum, tish* ), and decided I didn't like the chapter ring on most of the Seilo 'Black Bay' mods. Phew !!!

So, back to holding off sending a note to Harold (Yobokies) to see if he can mod and SKA465...

I used to have the GMT, I'd have the standard 22 should I replace it. Very fine watch and one that I'd just love to compare directly with the watch it's based upon, I've a feeling that it could embarrass the IWC...

You've probably seen it but there's a good comparison here:

I'd missed that, cheers for posting. No surprise that the reviewer's general opinion is that the IWC is the higher quality watch with the PRS fighting back with cost and value (which is what I was referring to in my previous post), full credit to Mr P for doing what he does.

I quite fancy try the 22GMT at some point, it's a tidy looking watch.
I have other things to buy first though... wink

Received today and I still can't get on with it. Can't put my finger on why as it's fantastic quality for £200 but it's a quick flip I'm afraid. Bum rolleyes

Shame, but that's just how it goes sometimes.

Indeed. I thought it was the size putting me off but I think it may be the sterile dial.

Pretty much why I want to try the GMT.
Yes, it's fussier, but I don't think sterile dials are for me.

Whoops... Sort of accidentally bought something I've been after for ages.
Never bought one as other things have always managed to get in the way... Having coughed up a load on the car this month, I shall be eating beans for the foreseeable future!

Anyway, this is what I've bought-
