I did wonder how long after the start of Le Mans it would be until we got a watch shot with the race in the background or similar.
Haha! Wasn’t intentional. Was just leaving the house to drive from home in Lancashire to London (and had swapped my GS seen above for this Farer) and realised I was going to miss Le Mans this weekend. The silly strap has livened up a watch I previously wasn’t that into.
But perhaps a new watch photo cliché has been born..!
Realised today (thanks to Facebook) that I have owned my "daily" for 6 years.
I wasn't into watches at all but earlier in the year (2018) I had inherited my dads Rolex Datejust when he died. I wore the Datejust solid for nearly 3 months before realising the sentimental value was very high so I needed a daily watch. I actually ordered a Tudor GMT but realised quickly that it was going to be a long wait so went to Goldsmiths and purchased this off the shelf, I was 7 when Goldeneye came out so was drawn to a Blue Omega.

Its looking good for something that has been worn for maybe 5.5 of them 6 years, the .5 of a year will be covered by the Rolex and Tudor.
