Had a call from my AD.
Been told approx 6-8 weeks for this to arrive.

Looking forward to it...

Farther days present. Adding to my retro digital collection.

I really like this, not usually a fan of retro Casio's (to wear, they're all cool) but this is lovely.
Getting one too.

Now that is lovely - when(if) I have some spare cash around, then I would also be buying that. As it is, I may have to make do with a Swatch version!

That is stunning.

I never quite get on the bracelets from Omega though.

I agree. I put my Planet Ocean on an Omega blue rubber (only £400) which looks much better.

Have you tried one on? Got my hands on one today and was really disappointed - it felt so 'nothing'. The Racing version, to me, was so much better. But it's not a £9k watch in my eyes so I passed.

Have seen one in the metal at Omega, Regent Street.

It's the dial for me. Looks great and the applied indices just add to it's appeal.

Rest is just standard speedy, so nothing to not like.

I tried one on in Regent St back in March, I absolutely love it, the dial is beautiful. The only thing I wasn't so keen on is the taper on the bracelet and the 18mm clasp. It felt a little bit dainty to me, really comfortable though but I prefer the 20mm clasp on my speedy racing, it just feels that little bit more substantial.
I could of bought that one but my speedy racing is a white dial, and I've got my heart set on a 75th anniversary ultra deep.

It looks great, I'm a farer fan so I'm biased but I really like by Chalcot chrono, it suits this summer weather.

Clonk was probably underplaying it somewhat, more of a small explosion surely? biggrin

I like it.

+1 - lovely watch. And if you’re going fall off that particular wagon, you may as well do it properly smile

Not usually a fan of black watches, but that rolex looks great. Not that I'm surprised, they make awesome looking stuff (mostly).

Saw this Ball Fireman Enterprise going for £200 off, so jumped at it. Very nicely made with a simple design. It's comfortable and my first tritium watch. Happy to say the tubes work great and light output is decent even when it's dusk and still fairly light out. A good buy for under £1k anyway, but pleased with the saving.

Thank you Pebbles,

Still have my Ball Fireman, Swapped the bracelet onto an Engineer leather strap,
Under the radar but it certainly feels quality - only fault I had was it'd run out of power, I'd fully wind it Monday and by day 5 or so it's stop out of energy after being left off overnight frown, Easily rectified by a midweek wind - just something to monitor for, but hope you enjoy yours ....
