So, I've realised I need a classic Dodge Charger in my life, something around 1969 vintage would be about right. cloud9

Now, I don't need a concours example, or even a particularly high spec one - to be honest, I'd be just as happy with one with a bit of 'patina'

I appreciate these cars are highly sought-after, but my dream is to source one perhaps in the US (where they will be a bit more plentiful).

I may be dreaming, but any hints on where one might start a search?
Is there a US equivalent of www.carandclassic.com, autotrader, or Pistonheads Classifieds for example?

Thanks Lucifer. Good info.

Maybe I'm better looking closer to home for one that someone has brought over as a project and has given up!! hehe

I did find this site https://www.hemmings.com/ , but most on there are pristine examples for $100k frown

Was quite tempted by this I must admit...

There's a guy in the Neverlands often advertises on the UK Ebay, His cars are usually scruffy ,not sure how ratty you would like,

More choice in the States but as already been said the Charger is well sorted over there,

Not sure but last time i bought a classic yank over i was charged 5% vat but this may have changed ,

Shipping, transport and insurance should be the only other things to pay for. Good Luck with your search .
That's great, thanks. thumbup

I’m currently doing exactly the same and considering selling my daily for a 60s Pontiac.

I’ve found this website to be useful, which casts its net worldwide and you can filter by a lot of conditions:
theparking-cars.co.uk

The only thing to be wary of is whether the ads are real.

Interestingly I’ve found a lot of Americana is for sale in the Nordic countries, and is relatively cheaper than the UK.
That;s really helpful, cheers.
Found quite a lot of potential candidates on theparking-cars.co.uk
