Well it looks like we will be blessed with some fine weather this week. So i am going to commit my self to wheels day. In either the Hummer or the Vette. Anyone else?

I'm planning on going.
What are the tips for arrival time etc? ISTR that the traffic is a bit of a nightmare?

Try to get there by 8, anything gone 9 can be gridlock.

Only 10/15 minutes from me so I get there early, grab a bacon roll and a cup of tea and retreat back to the car to read the paper for a bit whilst it fills up.

Could be a plan, I'm working late thurs night so might have a snooze in the car till it's gridlocked...

8? - that's 2 hours before it opens?

no idea which thread I should post this in tongue out

So given I appear to count as unwashed, I'm b*ggered if I want to get there at 8 and wait 2 hours, so I'll have to take me chances in the traffic.

I'm thinking of taking the m'bike so I can filter past all those hot annoyed car drivers wink

where is there? can anybody point me actuall where its happening (beyond Rushmore Arena)any hot tips as to where I'm actually trying to get to, or just follow the jams?

If you go in the Camaro you'd get in early no worries (prob the Monaro too, depends who's on the gate), but if I still had the choice, bike would get my vote. In theory you can get off the showground easily after midday (not so much coming in by then) as long as you haven't got blocked in mad

From the A325 on Aldershot it is reasonably well signposted, or, as you say, follow the queue.

If you're coming from the south, big roundabout which will show A323 right BUT GO LEFT onto Wellesley Rd then right onto Bourley Rd, then follow queue (depends which entrances they're using this year).

From the North, can get there via Clubhouse Road off A325, then Rushmoor Rd.
