Hummer H2 Engine

Hi anyone no of a 2003 H2 6000cc petrol hummer engine for sale,
Just bought a repo with a seized engine.

Any 24x reluctor LS2 or similar Iron block will work mate.
Or just get a new short block from the US. Should be about $3k US plus shipping etc.

PS: What did the whole car set you back?

Thanks, usa was my other option or rebuild this one but its the time factor being a limo thats off the road, cost 16k but as i say it is a limo.

The problem is the older cranks were 24x reluctor and stopped production in 04 so any newer engine will be 58x
Trying PM "raving" on here for a VXR LS2 engine, but it wont be cheap. In theory an LS1 will also be fine and actually probably have the sensors in the same location as the hummer. Maybe doublecheck on a US forum. If its a straight swap post up in the HSV forum I know there are a couple of guys selling stock LS1's "mym8v8" for one.

I believe it's an LQ4 engine? I've got a long block one here that I pulled the heads off to check the bores. No accessories or intake. Do you know why yours is siezed?

No not yet, found one for £1500 but have a guy who can do shells etc for £300 if its just crank.
Dont sound bad at all.

If bearings are spun you might need to do more than just replace them, probably need a line hone and resized rod ends etc.
Pull it out first and check it out.
Iron engine is just a Gen3 with 6L displacement. £1500 isn't bad if it runs nice.
How if you wanted to you can put a stroker kit in your seized engine, a 4" crank, rods and pistons etc is about $1500 USD.
That would be nice. Though in a limo you probably want something stock, cheap and economic.
