Help needed

My passenger door unlocks and locks ok but won't open. I remember reading somewhere about this but can't find thread. Anyone know either the thread or how to get it open again.

Not sure but you realise that the key fob unlocks the driver's door only and you need to press it twice to unlock the passenger door? Just wondering if it has deadlocks being GM.

Out of interest, will the door open from inside?
Some exterior handles are plastic and sometimes it's just the linkage coming adrift.

Today is the first it has happened. The button pops up but the door handle inside or outside won't open it. I am guessing something has broke but I need to get he door open before I can cure it.
P.S.
I am trying to post here using phone so please allow for mistakes as it's first time I have tried it and I am not near pc.

Got it open again.

No idea what happened to it but after putting the key in the drivers door and locking and unlocking it a couple of times it cured the problem.
