Head lamps cut and shut

Would any one know why the head lamp housings on my Lincoln navigator have been cut through and resealed, also 1 of the headlamp bulbs/lamps have been purposely disconnected/disabled
Had the car for 3 years and only just noticed, would this have been done for some reason when the car was imported

Could be someone has installed side light bulbs in them.
Does the disconnected wire go to the indicator bulb,if yes they are probably
daytime running lights.
All of those mods would have been done for uk mot i would have thought.

Sounds like a bad job to meet the SVA requirements to me.

Yep, SVA job to loose the front orange running lights.. you may have a similar bodge at the rear too.
