Hi,
I currently have a 2007 'S' type Jag running on the black stuff.
I am now bored with it and want a V8 again, last V8 was a MG ZT-T SE260.
I have about £15k to play with at the moment, depends on what I get for the Jag.
this is where I would like some opinions.
Do I get a 2000 - 2004 F150 HD with the blower
Do I save a few more £££ and get a 2005 --- with out ??
has anyone had both ?
if you have either can you advise on good and bad bits and if you wish you had early or late
LASTLY, on the early car the dont have a centeral shifter, is it easy to move / swap in the later shifter ?
Cheers
Stuart

The earlier ones are quicker & weigh a bit lessFleckers said:

On a personal view the later ones are a bit more refined, few more toys, you can find later ones with boosted motors, Saleen or Roush, but they tend to be over your shopping budget.Fleckers said:

Speak to the guys on Rebel-V8.com there are probably more knowledgeable owners on there than you will find anywhere (Adam)Fleckers said:

I have an 07 AWD Roush supercharged, it is obscenely quick for something which weighs nearly 3 tons, mine is LPG converted which makes it viable as a daily driver (250miles around £65) if you don't drive it too hard. Service parts are relatively cheap as they are for most American cars (except spark plugs on 04 up) & easily available, + there are loads of mods available if thats your thing.
