Just wondering about buying another truck to replace the ford I stupidly sold a couple
of years ago, made up my mind its got to be 3/4ton, diesel, auto, and have an extended cab not a double and a ford .. just not sure if there is any point of 4x4 last one was rwd and never realy had a problem.. what do you guys think.

I'd go with the 4WD or AWD on a personal choice, mainly because we do quite a bit of caravanning & at some of the more remote places we have visited it can be difficult to maneuver a twin axle caravan without tearing up the field. I also use my truck for work & 4WD can come in handy on some of the sites I have to visit, but if I were buying a truck just as a regular means of transport I would go for the slightly better fuel consumption & cheaper initial cost of 2WD. You just need to weigh up what you are going to use it for.JMO

Go with 4WD. Apart from sitting better, they also hold there money more. During the recent snow i pulled into a garage behind another Ram that was 2WD. It had taken him ages to get there. And ages to pull away again. He just couldn't get any traction, and was sliding all over the place.

Me on the other had no problems what so ever. Some might say you dont need 4WD. But it was at times like that you wished you had.

Yes, Roushcharged, AWD, Lpg conversion as well, it is a pretty awesome bit of kit although it is probably not the most economical vehicle I have ever had, it is not the worst either!
BTW your Cerbera is the best colour trevor did, I was going to use it on one of my bikes but it doesn't look so good on smaller surfaces so I ended up going with something else.

A lot of stuff goes to Europe when the exchange rate is in their favour. It's also extremely expensive to import a used truck from the states compared to what you can eventually find one for over here.

Been looking at F150,s. I had a look at an F150 FX4 before i bought the Ram a few years ago. Apart from the interior. The rest didn't really do much for me. The Harley Davidson edition on the other hand i like very much. I could see me having something like that.

The TVR i have parted company with on Sunday. The money is going towards a Vette C6.

I'd always been a Mopar man & it was a close call between this & a Ram SRT10, I thought about the Henessey twin turbo SRT which was for sale around the time I was looking but it got sold before I had a chance to go and look, probably for the best as I do over 10k a year in the truck & although I could have had it "gassed", I know of a couple of SRTs that have not done well on LPG so that was not an option & the fuel bills would have hurt big time!
The F150 drives nicer that an equivalent year Ram, but a mate of mine has just taken delivery of a new 2011 spec Ram, he's said it drives real good I'll find out next time I see him!

Does it have independant suspension alround? My Ram is on independant fronts with leaf on the rears. The 2010 Rams on were fully independant alround. Wondered if the Fords were the same seeing as you reckon its a better ride.

No mine is an 07 and still on leafs at the back, which is why I am sure the new Dodges (1500s anyway) are probably better, I'm pretty sure that the new Fords are still on leafs (should that be leaves?)

Correct. The current Ram knocks spots of the F150 and is quite a bit cheaper.
