Only if you've got an address you can register it to.

In other words, highly unlikely unless you've got relatives out there.

are you trying to register the vehicle here or just drive a vehicle in the US?

Had a similar problem when I shipped my Corvette to the US for a three month holiday. I had no contacts with a US address but managed to get insurance with AIU North America Inc.
600 King Street,
2nd Floor AIUX
Delaware 19801
You could also try Grundy Worldwide in Philadelphia (got that via a thread on TVR in US)

Just call an insurance company and give them your home address, but let them know that you want insurance for the state you will be registering it in, you can receive your proof of insurance (or temporary proof of insurance) by fax or email. when you register the vehicle, you should be able to do the same, if not get a PO box

pm me if you still need this
I spent hundreds of hours on the phone to get a car insured the biggest problem was not having a US licence but in the end I did find one insurer that would help.
