Kurtis indianapolis 500 on the dyno
Discussion
I thought that you Yank loving chaps would be interested in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PjMwdJLbyCk
I was recently having my car worked on at Evolve in Luton and there were some cars going on the dyno before mine - cars run by FS Racing Ltd.
One of them was this Kurtis Indianapolis 500 car - a car I've certainly never seen before and by all accounts is simply an Indianapolis 500 engine shoved in what I can only describe as a Caterham like chassis.
Enjoy
I also have a nice Stingray vid to get up too...

Looks like a Kurtis 500S rather than a Kurtis Indy racer. The Indy racers looked slightly different and of course all had the famous Offenhauser 4 cyl engine.Engine for the rare 500S could any of the V8 from the era that they were made (53-55) Lincoln-Ford-Mercury Y-Block, Chrysler Hemi, Cadillac, Buick Nailhead etc or any newer american V8 of course.
