Can anyone recommend to me an American Car owners club that I can join for free? My insurance company are insisting that I join one but I don't really want to pay for it if I can help it. I've trawled through the net but nothing so far so I thought I'd ask you lot. x

Most of them are less than £20 a year.

Try AVO or AACI.

Hi Sammy,

Join MKB, Milton Keynes based but I believe they work as a club with American car insurers.

www.MKB.cc/forum Just post up on the main section and admin will be able to sort you out.

We also have a member in Cambridgeshire wink

Try www.mocgb.net who, at my bidding, set up an affiliate membership system for people who don't want club mag, just a forum. It's about £12 a year.
