Chevy Colorado
Discussion
I was just having a dual-purpose browse through the classifieds - a friend needs something cheap to replace her Surf which has just died for carting dogs and towing a horsebox and I've been considering something for a daily which will get me to work through the winter and not use my spine as a shock absorber over potholes, something I'd never really noticed too much until I had a Suburban for 2 weeks in the US.
Anyway, whilst working my way through all the different 4x4s I could think of I spotted this
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1953464.htm
which not only do I like the look of, it has piqued my curiosity as I can't find much info on them, all google has turned up is the Chevy US website, a Wikipedia which suggests that it's a shared platform with Isuzu and another one for sale on Autotrader, which is also right hand drive suggesting to me that it's not very likely that 2 people have gone to all the bother of replacing Isuzu badges and parts to make it a Chevy, which has left me wondering if they were sold in this country or if they're imports from elsewhere and hoping someone on PH can shed some light on it.
