Chrysler Crossfire - Help!

Hi all,

Although a regular on pistonheads, im new to this yank section!

We have a crossfire roadster (convertible) but having a problem with the spoiler light flashing. When this flashes (80% of the time is on) the roof wont function but the spoiler does...

If i disconnect the battery, it clears the fault and the roof works but then after a short while will start again.

Firstly - anyone heard of this?

Secondly, are there any specialists for this car other than main dealer as they havent heard of the problem (and i dont really fancy paying their prices whilst they scratch their heads!)

Afraid I can't help any more than say it sounds like an earthing issue. May try tracing wires and connections to see if any look corroded. Might also be worth joining one of the US forums for these vehicles, likely to be a lot more knowledge and help for you.
