I'm looking to buy a pickup for taking stuff to the dump and DIY jobs etc. Initially I was thinking of getting a high mileage Hilux, but having been to the states and been bitten by the American car bug, I'm considering a US pickup!

The problem is that I know nothing at all about them, not even the manes, so searching for one on ebay is a bit tricky!

My budget is about £2000, it needs just 2 seats and a big ish load area.

LHD isn't going to be a problem, nor would the fuel consumption.

Any ideas?

That Dakota looks ideal.

Other than ebay, where is a good place to look for cheap trucks in the UK?
