Can't offer anything particularly constructive apart from to say, I don't care what the masses think I BLOODY LOVE THEM!
Had one on a week test drive, ok so the driving position is a bit cramped, the plastic is a bit cheap. But by God it turns heads. Even through SW London people stood and stared. I love the look, the size, it actually drove OK too - not massively economical - I had the 2.8TD - but who cares!

I'd have one, but for 2 things - the lease per month was very high (company car plan) and SWMBO said No! hehe

Someone on one of the Mustang forums bought one and was cock-a-hoop with joy but you know us American car owners, we put up with anything. wink

Depends what you want/need a 4x4 for.

Not a bad car but has no centre diff so is only two wheel drive most of the time.

I don't think it's a proper 4x4, certainly wouldn't take one green laneing (sp?) or whatever.

Switch by the shifter makes it 4x4, and it's great for quick get aways. With it in standard rear wheel drive it's actually quite easy to get the back out, an amusing sight a Nitro on opposite lock.

scratchchin Perhaps I just realised why the mpg was so poor.
