I have a problem with a friends jeep Cherokee 4lt 1998 no spark, I don't have the ignition circuit diagram so I cant track/test the circuit, the ignition coil has been replaced I have monitored the pick up on the distributor seems to be OK but I don't know if there is some fancy immobilizer issue any help appreciated

Jeep........CPS failures common (underneath by the bell housing)

Unplug re-plug back in, may start, you could then clean up the plug and dielectric grease it to protect it from the elements.
