2 second gen Camaros recently sold on Pistonheads for not a lot of money. Am I missing something with this one:

Seems to be a bargain? although I obviously didn't get to see it mad

The second gens rot like buggery....everywhere. Inevitably, the good ones cost a lot and the ones that tend to rot behind the windows and plastic front and rears are cheaper.

Agreed, I should know I spent 3 years restoring a 72 SS350, then spent more time keeping it together than driving it for another 2 years (it lived outside on my driveway for 5 years, as the garage was full of junk). Still would have liked to have had a look at this one.

Until you really start taking it apart you wouldn't know if it was rotten or not.. It looks fairly tidy and a pretty good price, even if it has the smallest of big blocks (if you know what I mean..) go have a look, check out the drivetrain and how it runs. Especially all the bushes, suspension links cos these will probably all be bu@@gered if original, and decide from there.

All depends if you're looking a for a car to blast about in for a few months/year or so, or a long term keeper. Either way this might be a good find, just be prepared to open your wallet wide if you decide to do some resto work..

It's sold, was only advertised for a short time. I was just pointing it out because with prices as they are at the mo, didn't think it looked too bad and of course I fully understand you can't tell what a car looks like from photos.
