Engine Tuning

Guys, is there anywhere around London or south of there that would be able to dyno tune (rolling road) the LS1 in my Camaro? I'm close to ordering a set of headers from the states and know that you really need a tune to get the full benefit of this kind of upgrade. Alternatively, I might go for a torque converter instead, but leaning towards the headers at present.

Depending on where you get your stuff from you could ask them for a tune to go with the headers etc.
ThunderRacing might be a good place to start. If you ask them for an efilive tune I can flash it in for you if you cover the license cost.
I can also send them your current tune if they need it to do your mail order from. Im in North London.
I know of nobody in London who does dyno tunes for ls1's commercially.

I've actually got HP Tuners myself (not that I've ever dared used it apart from taking a read), so I guess I could try that approach. Thanks for the idea. Would still prefer a proper dyno tune though. Looks like these guys might be able to help....

Up by Santa Pod, in Wellingborough, but I would be prepared to travel that far if it turns out there's nothing nearer. I've dropped them an email so will see what they have to say.

I've been looking around for dyno tuner for my SRT8 HEMI and Rapid GB seem to be the best option I have come across so far. Haven't contacted them yet but they're top of the list at the moment.

Rapid are good and he's kept busy to. Tuning is a major part of his business. He has a RR so can tune in house and I think he's got EFI Live as well.
