anyone driven a 2010 camero v6?

hey guys

been offered a new 2010 camaro v6 cheap (26k). black, 20" wheels, no leather. normally i'm a v8 guy all the way but I have to say i'm tempted because of the price and it looks stunning! how does the v6 go? will I be disappointed?

sorry my bad spelling. had a look today.....drives well but am going to hold out for a drive in the v8 before making any decisions on my next car.

I've heard the v6 goes well, but you'll always be wishing you'd got the v8..

The V6 is surprising in it's performance, but I think the engine's torque characteristics don't make it feel as fast as it's figures. I think most would agree that it is a big compromise, even if it is a lot more affordable.

gotta say a local chap has a V6 for sale (used) IIRC it was about 22k... looked fecking amazing and as powerful as my full fat 2000 SS - then again it does weigh a fair bit more than the SS too

It's not bad actually, I have driven one, the V6 hits 60 in about 6 seconds and in UK terms you'd also get the benefit of about 32mpg on the motorway.

The newest Mustang V6 though is faster and would get about 35mpg on the motorway.

Truth is the Mustang is a better car and the V6 versions will always be built down to a price:
