Looking for a vintage soft top for a photoshoot.
Discussion
Please excuse my ignorance on the subject but I am looking for an owner of an old American convertible along the lines of the cars used in 'Fear and Loathing' or 'True Romance' that would be willing for their car to be used in a photoshoot for a comedian.
I'm a little sketchy on the details as it's a friend of mine that's running the shoot but it would be a static shoot with the comedian in the car so no need for anyone else to drive the car. The car needs to have a vintage look but doesn't necessarily need to be 50's/60's. Condition isn't that important either, this could be ideal for someone that's undertaking a restoration. It does need to have a soft top though.
If you have such a car and are interested or if you know someone that may be interested please let me know. We may be able to reward the owner in a small way too. We're based in Brighton but a bit of travel is fine. Looking to get this done in the next two weeks if at all possible.
If there is a specific forum away from PH I should be looking at then links to that appreciated too.
Thanks
EDIT - It's been pointed out that maybe I mean classic rather than vintage! Old rather than modern is what I want, I'm afraid I don't know much about American cars of the past.

Along the lines of the cars featured in the films you mention would definitely not necessarily need to be a 50's/60's car as they both featured 70's Cadillac Fleetwoods. I know of a couple of earlier ones locally to me and indeed a later one although thats a hardtop.
I can ask within the club for you, someone may have something...
