Can anyone give me a list of people who specialise in American car insurance. Just had a quote for a Hummer at £730 3000mls limit.

What he said.
Otherwise Adrian Flux (but they usually require a Thatcham 1 alarm)or MCE (cheap premiums but read round on the service side).

I had mce for 2 years just expired on the vette, and they went up to 590 for some strange reason,so i went with clssiclineinsurance , 424 fully comp, 5000 miles, garaged, no points, 26y old. But not every car goes under classic. SO grand cherokee 4.7 was 960 .

Try RH Insurance Services, just knocked £150 off Fluxs renewal of £290.
That's for 1988 GMC Sierra pick-up,5.7 V8, full European recovery, retained salvage as it's over 20 years old, fully comp, 5000 miles a year.
Will also insure my '66 Nova and '66 Corvair, on laid up policies, for £25 each. If i took all three at once, it was £175!
