Not sure if PH attracts Cruiser owners but nothing ventured...

My wife's previously faultless car decided today to start locking and unlocking itself all on it's own. This freaked her out as she was in the process of putting our 6 week old in the back, so she was worried it might lock him in and her out. The car is currently sitting in the drive clonking away to itself, although she locked it with the key instead of the zapper. I suspect it is a relay, anyone got any experience of this, and know where it is located?

Oliver.

Have you tried one of the UK PT Owners forums for help, a quick google should give their www. addresses.

If the owners forums don't turn up a solution, try a battery disconnect for 10-15 mins?. Bit like a "reboot" when your PC is playing up. smile

Thanks for your help, disconnecting for 10 minutes worked a treat and all is fine now.

Will try the cruiser forums some time, but thought I'd try this one on my way to the TVR forum.

Cheers,

Oliver.
