Hi

I run a company that produces sound effects for video games and I'm currently recording a stack of recording sessions involving a wide range of different car types for a game project. One thing I've been asked to find is a V6, possibly Chevy or Dodge. In game, it's going to be heard when you drive an SUV / Jeep. (It's not a racing game).

Can anyone help out? We're recording on a system called Dynapack at a venue near Wakefield. You'd get to hear your car in a game, get some MP3s and some expenses money. If you're interested, please drop me a line: jerry@mediamill.co.uk

Cheers!

A V6, for goodness sake, everyone knows the best cars end in 8!

Can't help out, but good luck with the search!

Cheers! We are doing V8s as well, but they want a lot of different stuff... here's hoping!

Farmboy if you want local V8's and other yank stuff, you should try the YorksYanks guys. There's a couple of Ford V6's amongst our lot who might come over and stick them on your machine for this, but loads of other interesting stuff too that you might be interested in for further projects maybe.
