There are some speedy rides like the Grand Prix NASCAR and Mustang Monroe Handler that have become forgotten. What other obscure rides can you think of?

According to google they did. Never knew of a Talbot Horizon, but the Chrysler Horizon/Dodge Omni was a bit of a joke which is why I said don't laugh previously. The "Shelby-ized" Omni GLHS (pic I posted earlier) was considerably faster than the shopping trolley it was based on.

Indeed, in one magazine road report Mr Shelby was pictured with, the Omni GLHS (Goes Like Hell Some More) bettered the performance figures and track lap time of a '60s Shelby Mustang 350, with mere turbo 4 cylinder power.Edited by redtwin on Saturday 30th January 15:46
BTW the blue car above was a Chevy Laguna NASCAR, sorry about that.
The little 1974 GTO is an overlooked car. Last of the GTOs and based on the smaller Nova platform, so it handles well.
Poor departed Oldsmobile, the early Hurst/Olds cars had merit, then in the '70s and '80s they slowly became paint & tape specials.

"In 1967 Don Yenko ordered L-78 equipped SS Camaros and swapped in the Chevrolet Corvette's L-72 427 in³ (7.0 L) V8. The cars came with a 4.10 rear end and heavy-duty suspension. The exact number of cars produced is not known; most estimates are around 50. Yenko also installed a fiberglass replacement hood similar to the "Stinger" hood featured on 1967 big-block Corvettes."
