Anyne have any experience with Chevy Avalanche?
Discussion
Feedback, in what context?
They share the same driveline as the Suburban and Silverado. A lot of the interior trim is also shared. I have a RWD 06 Suburban with a Vortec motor.
Mechanically they are bullet-proof - nice, silky V8 mated to a very good, well spaced transmission that gives very good acceleration for such a large vehicle. Also has a massive towing capacity.
Mine delivers 16 USmpg.
Interior is a little plasticy, but it all fits and there are no rattles or squeaks in mine after 4 years of ownership. Seats are cloth - but mega-comfy.
Avalanche is a bit of a misfit, in that it's not a true pick-up (the bed is quite short) and earlier models had some leakage problems with the rear screen/folding panel (mid-gate) - so check water-tightness on pre 2002 models.
