I have a White 1989 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 to sell. It's a genuine 1 owner from new car with a full service history.
It's condition is practically as new and it runs like a watch. Mileage is 67k.
Where (apart from PH) would be a good place to advertise it and is it worth much?
Any advice gratefully recieved.

Looks like the prices of 3rd Gen cars has now slowly started to increase a little. Thye're not selling for the £1500 - £2000 of a couple of years ago. I was looking at an absolutely mint (and I am very fussy) 3rd gen Camaro not that long ago and the asking price was £3600. I was very tempted to buy it just on a whim, to run alongside my 4th gen car. The Pontiac has always come at a little bit of a premium over the Chevy so I'd expect you should advertise it at a little bit more, if it is that good.

Try the American car forums (Pontiac Owners club would be a good place to start) and of course the free ads in Classic American magazine.

Thanks for the information - I have to admit that I'm totally out of my depth when it comes to American cars.

Watch out for the Ad soon I'll probably try £3,700!

I'd pitch in at £4500. The 4th gen V8s are more powerful and start around £5500 but are marmite cars to many and these 3rd gen cars are becoming collector's cars now and worthy as show cars. Assuming it is mint, it is now rare as well.

Thanks again!

Really appreciate the advice.

I'll try and post some pictures shortly, but it's still snowed in.

Would love to see some pics. It's definitely a 350/5.7 is it?

It was purchase in Florida and shipped across with no miles and registered on 2/2/89.
