Can this really be true??? That is some discount! I drove one a few months back and it made my Escalade feel like a diesel! Anyone else been in or driven one?

I drove an 06 plate one priced at £18,500 a couple of months ago. To say the performance was impressive was a bit of an understatement. Great pieces of kit.thumbup

Dealer provided me with one, while my car was having some warranty work done. They are very impressive. I think the 4x4 delivered a more aggressive holeshot than my 300C, which has the same motor. As with all Mopar product, the interior is a bit of a disappointment (seats are great though) - but it's appeal is the super-stout powerplant.

I wonder how long it's going to be before some a-hole comes along to declare that it doesn't have a real hemi - and it's just a crappy marketing ploy?
1. So what?
2. The combustion chambers are broadly hemispherical in shape (double spark plugs and shallow valve angles compromise somewhat), but modern itiration promotes more complete burn, better economy and more power than the original and wonderful elephant motor.

The SRT-GC is a beast. I'd love one.

I was lucky enough to have one as a courtesy car when my 300c SRT-8 was in for servicing. Possibly the fastest thing I've driven! I am very tempted by a new one for £30k!

If they have they will become collectors items and hold there price due to being rare! Why do all the best motors get killed off??? Bloody government me thinks!

The guy that owns my local dealership was running a 300C SRT8 saloon (now mine), a 300C SRT8 Touring and also the SRT8 GC.

He preferred the GC out of them all. It certainly sounds better standard than the 300C.

I wouldn't mind a go in one, will have to ask next time I'm in.
