mustang fuel sender wires

hi can anyone help me,I bought a ford granada that was fitted with a 4.6 mustang engine efi the problem i have is getting the fuel sender to work it has a mustang fuel pump sender unit which has 3 wires going to a granada wiring loom which has 2 wires I've not looked at it yet but was told by the company that did the conversion about the problem,and I thought if any one can solve this problem its you lot,thanks for your time
