What should be an honest price for a 70-71-72 Dodge Challenger in good shape but not a garage queen nor a concourse champion?

I've seen a white example in good order and with a stock 383 engine in a classic show here in Spain, the owner said 40.000 Eu (about 36.000 pounds) would convince him to depart from the car...

The 71/72 has the less desirable 'pointy' grille... sounds alot for a 383.....£35,000 for an immaculate 440 r/t maybe..

Where could I get educated in everything about classic Challengers? Any recommended link where to learn the different models/years/engines please?

that sounds alot for 72 car.72.73 are worth that much you would be looking to pay around £15000.00 for a good car.if you like that sort of shape there was an immaculate cuda in yellow in pistonhead classified for around £ 22000.00 i thought that was really cheap for that car.

i also agree, thats too much money to pay, try looking at www.moparuk.com they have closed the forum to non members frown however you can still see cars for sale, but no recent challengers, prob best to join imao 69/70 are the most sort after i reckon, well thats the model i would want £35k i would want a genuine hemi car near to concours condition

& join the mma -moparuk.com as said above

£36K certainly wont buy you a nice hemi car, but will buy you better than a 383 !
70-71 worth the most
