I get really tempted with some of the old school stuff.

But once you think about things like brakes, suspension, economy, comfort levels etc, it seems to make much more sense to me to get a late model muscle car. Better all round and can be daily driven.

Still it is nice. For that and other mopars you can head over to http://www.musclecartechnology.com/stocklist.html

And moparuk.com for sale forums smile I dribble over some of the stuff that comes up there.

Brakes and suspension can be upgraded, and keep the looks.. !!

Well yeah. Ive looked at the new turn key 69 camaro's from the US.

You would want a frame off restoration to ensure rot didnt come through if you put nice suspension etc in.. lots of expense etc.

But the ones above are made from a brand new body shell!

Then parts and servicing is non standard, etc.. Plus you would want a late model LS engine and efi for economy etc...
Can be done, but very bespoke (= expensive)
