Chelsea cruise! Back to the old school

I was driving along the embankment earlier,when i came across Three Mk11 escorts heading towards Chelsea bridge. Then it dawned on me that it was last saturday of the month, Cruise night,

I rumbled down in the Cerbera. And was surprised to see. Not just Mk1,11, Escorts and Capris. But loads of old school American Muscle. Its gone back to how it was around 20 years ago before all the stty boy racers turned up and turned it in to a chav fest.

One to pay a visit to next month me thinks

Ooooooooooooo good effort mate i'll have some of this with you. Will take the Pilot along for it's return. Used to be a regular there and the Pilot even made it onto the cover of a (very) rare video that was made about the Chelsea Cruise. For the life of me though i can't find a copy anywhere !

Some vehicles meet up at the Ace Cafe from 4.00pm last Saturday of the month and drive up in the early evening or direct to Chelsea Bridge about 7.30pm .

Well. Not long got back. Too busy on the bridge,so ended up parking the Vette and Ram in the park . Some nice metal there.I'm sure M3John will be along at some point to post up a few pics he took.

I was supprised at the turn out and could not get parked either
so headed back to Sloane Square, managed to grab a few beers and
some decent food.
Decided to head back via Fulham and one last bar before home.

Was a nice turnout and was good to see it return to how it used to be ! I only ended up taking a handful of pictures so i'll have a look through them a bit later. Next month though i'll take the tri-pod and grab some nicer pics for you all !

Although by all accounts it still occasionally gets well and truly infested by chav boy and corsa tt, the Chelsea cruise is still up and running and last month was actually the 35th anniversary meet. There are a few pics around the net if you go googling.
