65 falcon project
Discussion
reminds me of the one we had in the early '80s
£150 with tax and mot - was cutting out after a few miles.
vented fuel cap sorted that out.
there were some great cheap yanks around then, we had a pink '65 caddy £500, a'66 for about the same (and a scrapper for £100 when I needed an engine), '69 mustang that I swapped for a '74 455 Trans Am that cost £675, a rag top Mach 1 Mustang for £500 'cos one of the core plugs had dropped out and a 4 door pillarless Impala that was only worth about £500 because it only had a slant 6 but was a gorgeous car
My mate had a lovely GTO convertible from about '69 that cost £1300 and a nice Roadrunner for about the same.
We were all in our late 20s and caned them things like they were hot hatches
good old days !!

The Alan Mann Falcons in the '60s were always a stirring sight, WILD 289 musak,an era when Ford America produced some of the most formidable V-8s we've seen, this car is looking GLORIOUS, some clever engineers out there, which motor is he using Paul, thanks for posting and awaiting any info!
