In East Devon, the small village of Whitford (4miles from Axminster) is holding their ever popular scarecrow festival with over 100 scarecrows displayed throughout this small(50 houses) picturesque Devon village plus market and of course licensed bar and food.

This years festivel theme is 'America comes to Whitford' so the scarecrows will be Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Davy Crocket etc. It starts at 10.00 and goes on until 5pm but of course come when you can and stay as long/short as you like.
Anyone turning up in an american car will be provided with an honoured guest car parking space prominently in the village centre, every non american can will be kept in the event car park.
In the village we alredy have a 1970s Lincoln and a massive Harley but they could do with some company.

Sorry it is such late notice but originally the Devon American Car Club were coming from Bristol but have other committments and few if any can make it.

We currently have prime spaces for about a dozen cars but more could be sorted if needed.

If anyone wishes a pleasant day out and celebrity treatment you will be very welcome.
