Try Rockautos.com. A lot of people use them. Good service as well.
Just ordered some parts for our Econoline RV from Rock Auto. This 5% discount code is good to mid June:

I plan to get the van on the road for the rest of the summer and then have it properly resprayed over the winter. I like the idea of the front spoiler and van flares and removal of the running boards and would like to know where these placcy bits can be sourced in the states. I think the van at thet point will need a lumpy exhaust note and some wider torque thrust D's or similar..
Should be a good tow barge for the paddock and a hell of a lot cheaper than a surfer T5, even after the respray / parts.

Neil,
Any pictures of your van and/or which bits you're looking for ???
I'll only be out the one trip but my US boss is coming over in September and can be easily convinced to bring car parts :-)
Cheers
Chris
Chris. Couple of pics as bought. The windscreen needs replaced and the front suspension is very worn giving boat like handling. The beast has been very well cared for though by a semi retired couple who bought it back from florida.Any pictures of your van and/or which bits you're looking for ???

Oooh, good purchase!
We bought our Dodge Ram 250 in Vancouver. Drove for 10,000 miles / 3 months around the States/Canada, and couldn't bare to sell it, so brought it back home with us.
I converted it to LPG in a weekend (very easy to convert BTW), and now its a reliable cheap(ish) to run practical van.
But it will always drive like a boat!

New suspension won't fix that. It's as designed We bought our Dodge Ram 250 in Vancouver. Drove for 10,000 miles / 3 months around the States/Canada, and couldn't bare to sell it, so brought it back home with us.

yep a few people have told me that probably an american thing. Currently though their is a lot of play in the steering, a good 10 degrees in the steering wheel due to worn ball joints, drag link ends etc. I am not expecting a hot hatch but hopefully the new bits should sharpen it up.heightswitch said:
