After spending 8 weeks unable to decide on a colour I am going for Aqua Blue Metallic. It's a strange world at GM at the moment - they are taking orders and delivering cars but there is not a lot of information to go on.

You need to spend a lot of time on the various forums scouring pictures and ordering experiences. The dealers have only just got brochures and the ordering codes for options change by the week. So for example I still do not really know if the grey interior option is really grey for seat center panels, carpet, roof lining and door and fascia inserts, or a combination of that - the dealer cannot say for certain and those delivered vary somewhat...

Oh well can't wait to find out - 6-12 week delivery!

I didn't order stripes - going to have them painted on once I have it - probably an interesting metallic silver gray to match the midnight silver wheels. I'll get it done more like the rally stripes but I'll take them down the front fender too.

It's a 2SS/RS, but with Auto I'm afraid as it's going to be my daily driver into NYC and the Vette is for the weekend!!

Thanks - nice garage by the way (though I think the A140 is surely a mistake? x300 XJ Sport great and I am tempted to get another x308 XJR - I really miss it).

Cheers. No the A-class is not a mistake. Its served us proud over the last five years. The X300 is a great car. The X308 even better. But the 03 on XJ is superior to both in every way. B.t.w you maust post pics up of the Camaro when you take delivery. The only disappointment for me on the new Camaro, was the fact they are not offering the 22inch rims from the concept on production models.Stil a great looking car though.

I crawled all over it at the Auto Show and boy it's sharp - every crease and line is terrific - well worth the wait and the boot opening a compromise but necessary to make the lines work. The way the front comes to a sharp point is heavenly. They seem to have been able to keep to the concept pretty well actually - even inside too. Actually the edges are so good (almost) makes you wonder if they should try to do a Vette in metal someday.

I have to say I love the new Mustang - BUT the new 'Maro just blows it away looks wise... makes it look somewhat bloated and unwieldy
