It has gone through 6 mot s in E ngland but now they say its wrong? any ideas, do i buy new lights? I have been told you can stick tape over lights so they pass? can i turn the lights upside down so that would dip okay??

I had a similar problems on this front years ago. any help would be great thanks!!!
I got the advice that US cars have a flat beam, and this is meant to be OK for MOT. So I went back for the MOT and told the bloke to pass it. He showed me the beam patern through his alignment thingy and I had to agree it didn't look flat and was 'dipping' the wrong way.
He lent me some insulting tape and waited while I stuck it on and then passed it.
I now have a more US friendly MOT Garage.
Early shape 4th Gens were not imported in the Uk, so there are no Right hand dip lenses available. I got a mate to send some more lights over from the US and they did seem to have a faltter beam than the orignals.
Do the LS1/facelifted Camaros have RHD dipped lights?
